I was contacted by an individual about removing some over spray. I said I was able to do it, and needed to see the vehicle to give a quote.
The vehicle was not his, it was a neighbor to his house, well, a house he rents out. Seems he was staining his fence with a sprayer. The wind kicked up, and that about sums up where I am going.

Went to look at the car, Silver in color, and went ready with clay and a few other things to do a test spot. Came up nicely with clay, so an appointment was set. Before I left, they asked, "what about the black car?" Seems both of the cars had over spray on them.... I told them I heard nothing about a black car, so I would have to contact the owner of the other property and ask.
I booked the black car as well. Finished up the Silver car, not a problem. Finished up the black car today...big problem. The overspray set so long on the paint, it actually 'baked' itself to the paint. Major pain to remove. I think I did almost 5 hours of claying.

Over spray on the paint, glass, trims, tires, rims, etc..... on both vehicles.
Both are done, finished, no more......or is there?????? LOL

Another guy came forward. He actually is the tenant renting the house where the fence was stained. His car is covered HORRIBLY! When looking at it from an angle, it looks like someone dumped a shaker of salt on the car. That is how rough it looked! This car is Green in color.

Here are a few pics of what I was up against...

Silver car... Only 2 pics. Camera died out.
Over spray is reddish in color...

Goodness, that is some nasty nasty stuff. Five hours on claying? Unbelievable. But guess what? If it wasn't for overspray, I wouldn't be on AG now. My truck got nailed (along with 500 other cars) when they were building the tollroad.

Here is the green car that is worse. It has a LOT of over spray. The finish is extremely rough. I do not have this one set in an appointment yet....

Oh I agree with you P1et. Those vehicles are nasty...looking forward to the finished product. You do great work I'm sure they will turn out great.

The black car looks like the one's that Toto does, can't wait to see the after pictures.

Don;t have any after pics of the vehicles, But trust me, they are over spray free!!! I had the customers sign off that the car is to their satisfaction.

I did hardly any paint correction. Only what the Meg's #66 would cut with the LC yellow pad, and that was it. That is all I was hired and paid for...

Nice work..I noticed the custom emblem by the RT front tire the 300C i did had the same exact emblem, iirc it refers to the size of the tires being 20s(dubs)..thought i would mention this as the 300C was the first time i seen an emblem like that..
