Detail 1985 Corvette Detail III I/2 - Engine

Aluminum - P21s Polishing Soap
Other Parts & Inside of Hood - Klasse AIO

For those of you who are not sick of looking at pictures of this old car I cleaned the engine up and took a few pictures late yesterday. (I think I just like taking pictures of cars.) It's hard to get a good picture of the engine on this car.

nice shape for a 22 yr. old car! Looks great Gary. I'd like to pick up a toy like that.

I did have to replace the motor on one of the head lights. The halogen bulbs on the head lights are orginal. Having light bulbs last 22 years is pretty good. I disconnected the hood lights because they wear the battery down when working on the engine for long periods of time. Unless you are broken down on the side of the road at night the under the hoods lights aren't much good.

I love it, awesome work! Are you sure that you don't want to take all the parts off and then polish?:D

That is some excellent work. Fantastic work making that 22 year old paint look so good. Did you buy this one or was this a detail for a friend?

PS: those are some really 80s looking seats!!

P1et, I'm the orginal owner of the car. It seems like I had it most of my life.

Joe, this vette was my first sports car and was only the 2nd car I owned in my life. Before it I had an old Oldsmobile with holes in the floor boards when I was a poor college student.
