After selling my 2002 Mustang GT about two months ago, I finally found and bought the car I was looking for. A 2003 Torch Red 10th Anniversary Mustang Cobra! The car is build number 1689 of only 2003 made and is in great shape inside and out all the way down to the engine bay. After cleaning the car extensively, there are still a few problem areas on the car that need to be addressed. The paint needs a full correction to fit my standards but that is a whole other thread. It is in great condition just minor swirls and RIDS in areas on the paint.

Now, my two concerns right now are the headlights and the 10th Anniversary SVT rims.

The headlights have a sort of spotting/ oxidation on the outer lens. I have Meg's Plast X Cleaner and have not tried this yet, what is the best way of going about this?

I have looked up several threads here and this seems a problem for many owners with performance braking systems, if the vehicles wheels are not protected or maintained regularly the brake dust and road dirt bake onto the wheels finish. Popular in BMW and other German cars, but I have a similar problem as pictured above. I tried Meg's Aluminum Wheel Cleaner several times, with no such luck. I will be ordering Meg's Wheel Brightener in my next order here but I am worried it may harm the finish of these wheels? The wheels are are a coated aluminum with a polished aluminum lip. Any possible suggestions would be much appreciated!

Help me get my new baby clean. Thanks in advance! :props:

Congrats on your new mustang! Love the color. Now for the headlights there are a couple a kits you can by off the shelf. I used the Meg's headlight kit. Come with everything you need including wet/dry sandpaper. I was pleased the with results. As for the stubborn brake dust try using a clay bar. That usual works

I did see that headlight restoration kit, I might have to look into that. And detailing clay for brake dust on wheels? Really, never heard of that. Sounds interesting, I'd be surprised if it works. Do I use the clay with regular lubricant or a mild wheel cleaner?

Niceeeeeeee!! A "Terminator"! How do you like the supercharger? Did your old 5.0 have one?

The one I sold prior was a 2002 with a naturally aspirated 4.6L not the 5.0. They got rid of the 5.0 in I believe 95 and of course brought it back today! Anyways no supercharger there, I had all the normal bolt ons done to the car and all that was left was to slap a blower on it and do some suspension, but the motor would have needed work (upgraded fuel system, forged rod and pistons, pretty much the works) for that to happen so I came to the conclusion instead of funding a build why not buy a cobra and add on to the already impressive numbers it puts down. Oh and the supercharger, its awesome! The whine is intimidating, the car definitely moves. Now to get it to be clean enough to my liking. I have OCD about how clean it needs to be and stay...

I would pick up some Iron X to use on those wheels. And if that doesn't work use a clay bar.

Thanks for the input! Would this work or only just plain Iron X
