Hello,

I just bought a new car and was wondering what should be done to a car according to mileage. Does anybody have any info or a good website that list what should be done.

Thanks a lot,
George

You ever going to post any follow-ups to your other threads?

Excellent Point Mike!!

This "Good ol' George" (Brown), of AGO forum fame, kind of reminds me of this other long-ago famous 'George':

"Do you ever feel like the world is a tuxedo and you're a pair of brown shoes?"

BTW...
(To Me)...It appears AGO forum member George Brown is also in the: 'habit/has a history of'...not responding too often here...What is a good website to find out about car care schedule according to mileage? - Yahoo! Answers (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070513230250AAUqlYP)...either.

I may be mistaken, though.

Yeah, I don't get it. This looks like a normal spammer tactic, where he would either "shill" it by responding later in the thread and mentioning or linking his business, or sneaking in a link in his signature...but he hasn't done either yet.

On other forums there is a George Brown that has an auto repair business listed as his home page.

I've been known to be hard on spammers, so I will just post these links and let people make their own opinion.

There seems to even be an emphasis on injector cleaning and brakes.......

Mike Phillips has even noticed that something doesn't seem right and it raises a flag.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but ZimRandy...I like the BUBBLES avatar. I just recently discovered the show Trailer Park Boys on NETFLIX and it is hilarious. Sorry for getting off topic forum members...

When it says get oil changed, do it. Old oil could clog spark plugs and give you bad fuel economy. I would try car and driver or motortrend to see if they have any car info

Troll or bot?

Take a look below same questions the george brown have been posting lately. My guess is a bot scraping questions off yahoo and posting to this forum for whatever reason.

Doubt it. This forum member has an e-mail address that goes to this website,

JD Full Service Auto Repair, Jonesboro, GA 30236 powered by LOOBOO.com - engine repair, engine, local engine repair (http://www.jdfullserviceautorepair.com/)

I've been on the forums for a long time and never seen this type of valueless posting. George isn't breaking any forum rules... yet.

But he also does not appear to have any real interest in the answers to the questions he's asking in his threads by the lack of follow-up to any of them.

You would think a "full service auto repair shop" would already have maintenance schedules for vehicles that they work on...

I honestly don't know what's worst... The spammer or you guys feeding a troll... Way to make a big deal out of nothing.

It sure seems 'funny'...his shop looks like a first cabin operation, location appears very business orientated, etc. But, then he continues to ask some really (to me) ignorant questions.

My thoughts (mine ONLY), something just ain't right. Does, "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck..." seem to fit?
