Just recieved my first container of 845. when I first opened the bottle it was thick and chunky. I shook it and began using it. shaking, then applying, shaking & applying.
I came back today to lay down a second layer and it was thin, exstreemly thin and runny.
almost like colored water.
is this normal ? did I recieve a bad bottle? I would appreciate some help from the long time Collinite users

Perfectly normal, shake it around 2 minutes before using.

845 and just sitting around for a while will tend to get thick , harden up some , get a little chunky . when applying it to vehicle it should be fairly thin , watery like . shake it shake it shake it , or put the bottle in the sink with some hot water for a little bit and it will all get runny again . perfectly normal .

LOL yeah 845 straight out of the manufacture's bottle = not a fun time. Definitely need a squeeze bottle!

Nothing wrong with the bottle, you just need to switch to a flip-top cap.

Hmmm wonder if I could reuse an old cap from another bottle? It might fit.
I put everything in the Megs Self Cleaning Bottles. Even condiments!

Both my 845 and my Metal Wax bottles have flip-top caps from Dawn bottles. Thread is identical and they meter product perfectly.
