I am trying to figure out whether I want to build a shelf system use cabinets or plastic clear bins etc for all my supplies and such.

I have a work bench that is about 16 feet long and a little deeper than countertop depth. The wall above it is painted drywall and ready for some stuff to be put there, I am just not sure what.

Thanks,
Chris

It is extremely out of date and shelves have been added to store what the money missing from my account has purchased since then but here is what it looked like some time ago. :dblthumb2: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/35789-cee-dog-s-detailing-collection.html. The solution is still valid.

I happened to be going by a local college library when they were getting ready to move into a new building. They were selling all their old shelves, cabinets, carts, etc. So I bought eight of their seven foot tall, 48 inch wide, and 24 inch deep cabinets. They even had the keys for the locks.
The best part was the price. $18.00 each. Took me eight trips to get them home. They would barely fit into my old Explorer.
Now I just have to buy enough stuff to fill them all:cry:

Here's mine. I have a few more products now and I just added the side shelf so it was empty. I made the shelf from some scrap wood.
