I have a brand new 2013 Mustang GT. Deep Impact Blue. What should i do to really make it shine. Just have been washing it so far. Would like a nice shine. Not a DD and does not see rain.
What would be right for me?

Welcome to Autogeek Online! Very nice mustang there. There are a couple members here with a similar car. I know a popular combo is Chemical Guys Blacklight topped with V7.

You want a true show car wax also called a finishing wax...

Check out this thread,

We applied finishing waxes to all these cars after FIRST machine buffing out the paint till it was defect free. You're starting out with a car that should be defect free.

What would be right for me?

If it were mine, even if it's in excellent condition, I would still machine wax it using a tool like the Porter Cable 7424XP and a soft foam finishing pad. I would get the pressure points from my finger out of the equation.

It's really easy to do,

Plus, if you ever do get any swirls, scratches or water spots you'll already have the tool you'll need to remove these types of defects all you'll have to get is some buffing pads, a swirl remover and a fine polish.
