I have a black 12 Porsche Cayenne S and have had the paint corrected and then several layers of Souveran. Lately I have noticed some water spots on the back paint unfortunately. I just ordered some CG Water Spot Remover and was wondering what effect it will have on the wax. Will it remove the wax? It would seem to me that it would. I am pretty sure the spots are type I not type II so I am hoping they come right off. The CG product has some decent reviews.

I have all black cars and its a love/hate relationship really. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It probably will remove the wax. You would be better off washing, claying, and using a paint cleaner to remove them though. I would also pick up a more durable wax.

I think that the CG spot remover will remove all the wax also. But either way you go with a spot remover or tyring a polish or compound you will need to rewax that area. If the spots are not too bad a good cleaner wax or AIO may work with a polisher.
