While searching the forum for a good AIO with both good correction ability and durability, I came across Duragloss 671 Swirl Mark Remover. Does anyone have any experience with it? If so can you compare it to Meguiars D151?
Thanks,
Scott

It's a potent all in one but I haven't found the right pad yet to provide both good cut and high gloss. That's where DG 501 has the advantage, the way it finishes. I haven't used D151 yet so I honestly can't compare the two by terms of cut, but I do know that the protective properties within DG 671 are some of the highest in the line. With that being said I'm certain the protection would last longer than Meg's D151.

I can't comment on DG but 151 last a month or 6 weeks at best IME.

wouldn't you feel that 671 was to be used as a follow up to 652? I too haven't found the right pad combo. Any-hoo why haven't you tried 151? you want some?

Jim you are spot on! I think my best was 4 1/2 weeks......on my work truck that really gets put through its paces.

Thanks for your replies. It looks like at present, there just isn't an AIO that gives you:
1. Correction
2. Shine
3. Durability
As I read your replies it seems that D151 gives you 1 and 2 but not 3; and D 671 seems like it should give you all three if only there was a good pad to use it with.

What is the cutting/correcting ability of D 501?

IMO, it's pretty weak.

The Swirl Remover does have a bit more cut than the 501. The pad choice will determine the outcome. In other words, with a harsher pad, you will see more correction, yet less durability and conversely, with a milder pad you'll get less correction but longer durability. Yellow Buff and Shine pads are great for one steps like 671 or 501. Check out this post I did using only DG 501:

Thanks for the link. The truck looks great. After spending a fair amount of time over the last couple of days researching AIO's, it seems that there is a trade off between correction ability and durability of finish. Something like Megs D151 has a lot of cutting ability, but only lasts about four weeks. #501 which has a lot of staying power, doesn't have much cutting ability. It seems like if D151PRC had more staying power or 501 had more cutting power it would be a good thing. I could put away the 105/205. I guess that's not going to happen.
