As an avid detailer, it's moments like this that make you smile, even just for a few seconds/minutes, compared to the countless of hours of back pain and agony that we spend on our vehicles and our customer's vehicles. I am sure all of you can relate.

Walked in the garage and saw this. Smiled. Took couple pictures. Downloaded then uploaded. 100% unedited.

(2 coats of Souveran on top of UPP) I will throw another 2 coats on, for good measure LOL

That reflection makes all the washing, claying, polishing, and waxing worth every second.

What a gorgeous paint job.

Awesome job done on your baby, love the color, had a 1973 chevelle painted a similar color. Never had it looking that good though, and that was a long time ago. I miss my youth, wonder where it went, lol.

I bet if you put a hot girl in a bikini next to it, none of us geeks would notice her. Hahaha.

Thank you sir I agree. You know, it made me think...I wonder how MANY HOURS I have spent on Marilyn alone, ever since I brought her home. That includes all the washing, detailing, buffing, waxing, etc. I would venture to say... Oh..... 100 hours or more. Is that a fair #? Then I started thinking ALL the vehicles I owned in past so multiply that by xxxx... Oh geesh.

But tell you what... If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. If anything, I'd be more efficient at it now, knowing what I know.

Thanks Hoyt! Me too... This color is the favorite of all colors that I've owned...more than black even.

You're too kind. I'm no expert by any means. Some of the guys here are out of this world when it comes to detailing.

But yes, I posted a thread here when I first got my car. Ordered and brand new from the factory. I was there to watch it get delivered off the truck, and I personally peeled off that tape. She had 6.3 miles on her, and the paint was perrrrrfect and all virgin.

It brings a tear to my eye.. 1900 miles later...

Beautiful car, making more and more anxious for my termi!

Thx buddy. You got a 2013 Shelby coming? Wow dude.. I envy YOU! Make sure you don't have the dealer touch it at all!!!

Just beautiful.

Thanks a ton Robert. I'm sure yours looks like that too.

I always tell myself that if I am leaving time to eat and sleep in any 24 hour period than there is more time I can spend messing with my cars.

Just one of the many benefits to being "retired" and singleIm the MAN:buffing:
