View Full Version : Another new guy
Always been kinda OCD with the cleanliness of my vehicles but never really took the time to learn how to care for it properly.
Already have read quite a bit through this forum and am already learning more than I could've figured out on my own :xyxthumbs:
Can't wait to continue learning more about this addicting hobby! :buffing:

Sit back and enjoy the ride.

By your first line I see you'll fit right in nicely!! :dblthumb2:
Welcome!
Your first line reminds me of me. Of course, my first attempt at washing dad's '51 Ford when I was about 8 didn't turn out too well. After that, I learned you have to RINSE the car after you wash it. At least it was in the shade (and that was purely by accident).
thanks everyone!
I think Im going to enjoy this site :xyxthumbs:
Figured I should at least share some pics of what I'm working with as of now.
Please keep in mind I am a beginner to this hobby, Im young and still very much so learning :buffing:
This is my '03 Cadillac Seville with about 150k miles on it now (I drive alot!)
It's not terrible now, but it definately still needs some work. I feel that after I am able to pickup a buffer it will make things a lot easier

This is my '94 Ranger that I picked up about 2 months ago. It was in desperate need of work. The previous owner, a good friend of mine, did not once clean this truck. Im still working on it to get it back to my level of satisfaction.
Almost 170k miles on this one!
(Really wish I had some before shots when I first picked it up)
