I don't think we have a thread about this, so here we go. I use to go out and eat pretty much everyday. Either I was in a rush or too lazy to make my own food. Spending 5-15 dollars everyday is starting to take a toll on me. I'm trying to save up and eating out a lot really burns a hole in your pockets.

Today was the first time I cooked in a long time. I had some sliced beef and wanted to try something new. I went to diced up some green onions, garlic, onions and carrots. I started by marinating the beef in korean bbq sauce/sesame oil with diced garlic. Heated the stove and sautéed the onions first with soy sauce. Then added the carrots and sliced beef. Cooked on low for a minute then on high until fully cooked. Then added some green onions.

Served with rice with a side of fried egg, it was delicious.
