Here's our project car for Thursday, June 7th, Dave and Doreen's GREEN 1941 Plymouth Coupe.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/1465/1941PlymouthCoupe001.jpg

This is a fairly rare car in that you don't see them very often, especially hotrodded and painted bright green. Dave and Doreen had their Plymouth Coupe on Episode #6 of our TV show and for their segment we showcased the Metro-Vac MasterBlaster.

While the car was in the studio I felt the paint and inspected it visually and it needs to be clayed and have the normal wear-n-tear swirls and scratches removed and then polished to a super high gloss.

This will be a very fun project and should look fabulous after we restore a true show car finish.

Just to note...

The next Thursday Night Machine Polishing Clinic won't be until June 28th where I've scheduled Blinky's 1948 Cadillac.

So make plans to be here and be part of the team that creates a show car finish on this 1941 Plymouth Coupe.

Blinky's 1948 Cadillac Convertible
Looks great in pictures and on TV but is in Category #2 to #3 in my how-to book.
