Semi-newb when it comes to detailing. I have a new car and wanted to prep as best as possible.

1. Autoglym Super Resin Polish
2. Klasse AIO
3. Klasse Glaze
4. Autoglym HD Wax

Normally, I wouldn't do a polish, but am I OK to follow that process, or should I skip out on something?

EDIT: I'm all out of Blackfire which would have been my total solution.

Thanks

I don't know anything about Autoglym SRP, but if it had cutting ability, there's nothing wrong with your process. If it doesn't, you could leave step 1 or 2 out since both act as a polishing step. Since you're using KSG, I'd stick with the KAIO if Autoglym doesn't have cutting power (KAIO doesn't have any cut).

SRP has a little bit of cut, so if you have some very light marring, it might do to remove it. Otherwise, I don't see any use for it if you're going to use KAIO as well - both will clean the paint, and the fillers that SRP leaves will just be removed by KAIO. I'd also go for KAIO because you're using KSG - the two products would probably work together better (as you'd expect, them being from the same manufacturer).

In this case step 2 can be eliminated saving yourself both time and money.

Klasse AIO is also a chemical cleaner and doesn't have abrasives so this further supports not using it as outlined above....

Thanks for the response. Went with the Autoglym since ive used klasse for so long. It was a good product minus the white dust. Could have been too much product as well. The hd wax looks nice but also seems to collect more dust than the SG alone, or a synthetic wax. The search continues. :)
