Flat Blk Hood

Ditto new guy story. I have two questions:

I own a 69 Roadrunner with a flt blk hood. I think the paint is more porous and a carnuba wax might not be the best application. Am I wrong- What is the best way to polish? (have decided to use Pinnacle so have products on hand)

I used a product called Noxon (pot and pan cleaner) to clean my never been cleaned 7yr. old wheel covers on my pickup, I have never been more amazed with a product. No effort 20 min a wheel.

Must be some powerful cleaning agent- Anybody use it before? Thinkg long term damage to finish? Strong ammonia smell. This stuff works!!!!

Not so fast with the pot and pan cleaner. Since it has a strong ammonia smell, I think it is acidic which is not good. Switch to something that is not acidic like mothers all wheel and tire cleaner it has not much smell, but is strong and is reasonably priced
