I have a car with Cquartz and I noticed a scratch on the truck that I wanted to remove with my PC. I was wondering if I would be able to get through the coating and if I do, will it affect the coating.

Thanks!

You can polish right through CQuartz.

Polish is a micro abrasive and acts like fine, fine sandpaper. Used with a dual action polisher and a foam pad and you'll abrade and remove the CQuartz...If you get through the coating it will cease to exist...

This is typically the only way to remove these types of coatings....

And after you polish through out the scratch and then completely remove the polishing oils you can re-coat the area you polished with CQ. It is able to be layered at any age.
