Promised a friend I would get around to doing his Avalanche...been avoiding it because smaller cars kept coming up :D...
Feed back please
PROCESS>>>
WASH... NXT WASH w/micro chenille mit and Foam Gun
CLAY..Megs Smooth Surface
POLISH...SSR 1/2.5 Mix... took out the bulk of swirls and light scratches
TOPPER...Optimum Poli-Seal (first time using it.. did a great job cleaning up the paint)

Edit: forgot to add that some may be wondering why the ssr 1 and 2.5 mix when I used poli-seal as an lsp...it happened on accident...my neighbor was washing his car while i was detailing the avalanche and he broke out a guzzler to dry his car and i was like "a fellow autogeeker!!!" turns out he shops at the "other" website and had a bottle of poli-seal that he never really used because he doesnt own a pc or rotary...applying by hand wasnt working for him..hehe...i traded him half a chunk of my natty blue for the bottle and the rest is detailing history..... hahaha

all the plastic trim was treated with 303 protectant...took two thin applications and it really brought the trim (which there is a ton of) back to life...Brutus was just there for moral support, he pretty much slept in the cab the whole time...kept rubbing his nose up against a window I just cleaned thinking we were playing a game...the owner of the truck didn't mind him being in the cab btw...
