We bought a 2005 Kia Spectra 5 , spark blue, for our son in college.
There are a few chips that have been badly filled in with the "blob" method.
But overall the paint is in pretty good shape.
With 100k on the ODO it's been taken care of.
Gonna do this tomorrow, I got all day, and this idea:
wash-clay bar-wash again-GG paint glaze-BFWD sealant (or WG 3.0 sealant)
then liquid sovereign wax.
BTW - this is all the products I have at this point.
I'll have all day, weather 70's/sunny, will be in garage out of sun.
I have 3" GG DA and 6" GG DA and multiple pads and such.

Do I have to wait any length of time that won't allow me to do this in about 6-8 hours?
He's coming to pick his car up on Friday and I'd like to do my best.

I wish my first car was this nice, jeez!

You're only doing the exterior ? BTW my garage is full of stuff so I park outside and I still wash my cars in 70º/80º temps, the sun can only hit one side at the time.:xyxthumbs:

Most sealants have a recommended curing time of 12-24 hours before applying a wax or second coat of sealant on top of it. I'd stick with the sealant for longevity unless you'll have access to the car in 1-3 months when 1 coat of wax would be spent.

I'll have to chose to either use sealant or wax then as a final step (LSP?)
Although if I seal on Thursday I can wax late Friday morning.
Then play golf.

Interior is in xlnt shape.
