I opened my first bottle of this stuff and I was expecting a lotion like consistency. Instead, it looks almost like oil and water. Ive shaken the hell out of it but it doesn't come out with a lotion like feel. It comes out more like water with yellow stuff that's separated from the liquid. Is this normal? If not, do I send it back, ask for a refund, etc? I still used it but it just didn't feel right coming out of the bottle in it's currently liquid form.

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant is of a thinner consistency and was designed this way for ease of application.

It is normal for the product to separate after it has been sitting. Shake it well for 2-3 minutes and it will return to a more consistent, albeit thin consistency.

The thing to remember about this product is that it's designed to be applied super thin. On well-prepped vehicles, it will take less than 1 ounce to completely seal an entire midsize sedan. Apply it thin, let it dry to a haze, wipe it off with a quality microfiber towel, stand back and enjoy the shine. :dblthumb2:

Maybe use a stirring stick to help mix it. It will help get the stuff settled to the bottom. I had this happen to one of the WG Paint Sealant 3.0 samples I had. It just wouldn't mix up right by shaking it. Used a stirring stick and was able to loosen up the stuff on bottom and it mixed fine to normal.

The durability test stopped at about 6 and a half months when the owner, Jeff, stripped it all down and went with a carnauba wax. :dblthumb2:

Less than one ounce for an entire mid size car? Crap. I definitely was not being efficient. I'll shake the crap out of it a little more.

Mine looked like melted butter and oil mixed after minutes of shaking. After settling and shaking a few more times, it started to look a little better. Still used it, hope it holds up the same.

As mentioned, shake it for a little while. The bottle I got was the same way. Even after it mixes, it will be thin...and a little goes a long way!

I would try putting the bottle in a sink with some warm water for a couple of minutes then shaking it up. I have done this with other products.

this may sound goofy, but along with shaking the bottle to death i've found it also helps to smack the bottle against something. I smack the sample bottle against the metal post on my shelving unit. I don't know why but it seems to help 'fix' the consistency

My new liquid souveran bottle was the same way. It would NOT constitute to anything consistent.

I called Autogeek and had to force them to send me a new bottle practically. The guy on the phone was telling me the product is thin and meant to be like that.

Ive used every PBMG product practically offered. And have had many bottles of Liquid souveran. This bottle was like oil and water and thinner than water.

Lately all the sealants are coming completely seperated, but they mix up fine after shaking the first time. but this bottle of souveran would not mix up.

not sure what the change is, but some are hard to mix up.
My brand new blackfire bottle took about 3 days of shaking and sitting before it constituted.
