Hello Everyone,

I've been doing some research and I'm looking for a good product wax/sealant for my Audi. I live in Canada, so we have LOTS of salt every year and lots of rocks on some roads.

From what I've found on the forums the products below seems to be particular favorites here. Which would work best on my Car applying by hand.

Einzett Glanz
Collinite 845
Poorboy's World EX-P Pure Sealant
Poorboy's World EX Sealant with Carnauba
Meguiars NXT

Thanks in advance, I just took a quick picture. (click for larger size)

whatever LSP you choose has little or nothing to do with your clear coat.

if you want a durable sealant try Power Lock or UPGP.

Two new products I just tried and was very impressed with their ease of use and performance are..

Duragloss 601 Bonding Agent (http://www.autogeek.net/duragloss-polish-bonding-agent.html)
Duragloss 105 TPP (http://www.autogeek.net/duragloss-total-performance-polish.html)

I had an Audi A8L in Toronto, ON a while back.. One coat of Meguiars M21 followed by two coats of Finish Kare 1000P. It was great!

Or you could also apply C-Quartz followed by some Meguiars M26 for some depth.

You can also slap some Poorboy's Black Hole glaze somewhere in between for that maximum gloss.

That sounds bullet proof!

Thanks guys!

I'll be off to the US in a few days for shopping and I have a shopping list now! I have to order the stuff online in Canada and shipping costs more than the product itself...

My Shopping list below

Meguiars M21
Fk1000p
Duragloss 601 Bonding Agent
Duragloss 105 TPP
Collinite 845
C-Quartz
Meguiars M26
Poorboy's Black Hole glaze

I can apply all these by hand right?

In Canada, I order my stuff from eshine (dot ca).
Price is great and shipping is free on orders over $150

In Toronto GTA there's also Wisdom Detail (look it up online)

And yes, you can apply by hand, but the result won't be any good.

You need either a rotary or a dual action (they have both at eshine).

Cleaner for everything inside and out of the car: Optimum Power Clean (several different dilution ratios according to use, dash, doors, vinyl, engine, tires...).

But eShine is out of stock at the moment, so I'd go with Poorboys APC 128oz which is just as good and can also be diluted, and the gallon with last you forever. Don't forget the spray bottles too.

For the Leather: Leatherique (cleaner and conditioner too)

Those 2 all purpose cleaner I've mentioned will also clean leather when diluted properly, but I'd rather have something exclusive for leather, like Connolly or Leatherique.

845

While its a GREAT wax, 845 is not a sealant
