I just picked up a 2013 BMW X5 on Sat and while the car looked pretty good http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif the plastic trim is a another story. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/images/icons/icon13.gif I asked the the dealer not to wax it and leave any plastic on it - I will take care of it myself. But I didn't mention the tires (my mistake), so they put some dressing on it. The plastic trim by the wheels have some splatter marks on it and the rubber trim around the door and plastic between the doors have tons of fingerprint marks on them. I was planning on using Ultima Tire & Trim Guard on them. Will that remove the fingerprints and splatter? Is there something else thats better? Thanks all!

Try some APC, QD, or any kind of rinseless or waterless wash. Use a nice microfiber and that combo should do a good job of cleaning up what you see.

If you want dress the tires again, you can clean off what they did with some APC. Then use whatever dressing you want, I use Megs Endurance Gel, works great.

Did you try washing it? What happened?
