I realize that this has nothing to do with detailing. But I am curious about the gas prices of my detailing buddy dudes. So if you would post your latest price per gallon and/or fill up cost. Gas prices are outrageous. If they keep going up I won't have money left over to buy shiny stuff for my car.

Please Post after you dog me out about the forum.:awman:

My last fillup was about $4.09/gal. if I recall correctly. What are gas prices in your neck of the woods?

I drive a Nissan Leaf - 100% electric and loving it. No more gas for me! For folks who drive less than 100 miles a day, the Leaf may work for you. It costs about $3 in electricity to go 100 miles. Here's mine at a free public charger.

I quit looking at the price of gas at the pump when I bought a Jeep Wrangler. No matter how low or high the price of gas goes....I will still be driving a steel brick on stilts down the road....But dangit does it feel good to have the doors and top off!

Do you have alternate modes of transportation available or is driving considered more a luxury?

$3.69 for Premium.

Think it's $3.45 for low grade...but I don't pay that much attention. VA has some of the lowest prices in the nation, I'm told.

A lot has to do with state gas taxes.

I just figure on $100 to fill my van's gas tank and $75 for my Buick Park Avenue Ultra (premium only) and sometimes I am surprised that it doesn't take quite that much. I don't even notice the price per gallon anymore. I have bigger stuff than than gasoline prices to worry about. I'm just glad that cars don't run on printer ink.
