2005 Cadillac SRX *must see interior*!

This is my neighbor's wife's car. She is out of town on a cruise and he wanted me to detail her SUV so she doesn't want to get rid of it anymore. You can see why when you see the pictures. She was a hospice worker, so pretty much lived out of her car. Outside wasn't in bad shape, just dirty. Sits in the garage all the time. But probably hasn't had a coat of wax on it in 5 years. No befores of the outside unfortunately. The wheels were unbelievably horrible. But Sonax to the rescue on those. Whole car got a coat of Collinite 845.

Products and method would be great, I mean no one wants to do one like that but if you must you must.

nice work ... my wife has the same truck (newer) and she knows that even with two kids it must be kept up. The mats are the only items that occassionally needed deep cleaning. Leatherique would have been a great choice on that interior !

I knocked this all out in a day. The outside didn't need much, just my normal ritual of Megs UC on the top half of the car and Collinite on the entire car. The inside clearly took the longest.
Well let's see. On the seats, I started out with the Woolite solution, that didn't work too well. I decided on moving up to the Megs APC+. I know this may be frowned upon, but, had to do it. But after the APC+, I went over the seats with a few water dampened microfibers to remove any residue from the APC. I did this for every seat. Then applied Zymol Leather Conditioner to all of them and that really smoothed them out. The steering wheel got the same treatment. No sticky feeling, smooth like it should be.
The center console got a good drenching of regular Megs APC. Spent about 2 microfibers on that alone... Then dressed with PERL diluted.
Since I work for a GM Accessories distributor, I am picking her up some Genuine All Weather mats tomorrow...
She won't be back from her cruise till tomorrow evening. So I have a whole day to wait still to see her reaction.
