Things are going slower than I thought. Any way I am half way through with the OPT polish and orange LC pad and the truck looks good since its at night and I don't have one of those halogen lights I cant see any maring. Should I use the DP finial finishing polish on a white LC pad or go to the DG101 on a white pad?

Shine a flashlight on it and you should be able to see if there is any marring or swirls left. Depending on that, hit it with the final finishing polish to make it LSP ready.
Yea the flash light looks clean. I think Im gonna go with the DP after all. I just have to figure out how to do this faster its taking me all night. Thanks for your help.

No problem. The first couple of times ALWAYS takes a long time. Once you learn more, you will know when the polish has broken down and you can stop. Look how fast Justin does it! Experience and practice is the only way to get there.
no kidding, its close to 4 am and I have only used the DP FFP with the 4" pad on all the hard to reach areas. Thats it for tonight. Thanks for all your help.
Ok I used the DP FFP today with a white LC 6.5" pad. I liked it a lot better today tahn I did last night with the white 4" LC pad. My results were better because I used a quarter size of polish and stopped at the first sign of dusting. Of course it is cloudy outside today so I cannot take any after photos in the sun.

Op polish usaly breaks down really well unless your paint is extra soft you should be ok.
Yea I think I was using too much polish and too small an area. I did a faster better job with the DP FFP. I knew I should have made time for detailfest.
