Marring..

Just finished jeweling a panel with SF4500..

Was buffing off some Nattys and marred the paint with a meticulously cleaned (or so I thought), rather new MF towel that's about a month old.

Any tips on how I can ensure my towels are safe? I haven't dropped them. I washed these twice in a machine by themselves with some baby clothes (deft) detergent. Local auto parts store not the best place for MF towels?

I used to work in an auto parts store. The same totes they use for starter, alt, core returns and any returns in general, all the new products come back in the same totes. They are never cleaned, so the metal from defect brake pads, dirt and grime from other returns and defects the MF towels pick up when they are in the box on the way to the store.

I had a feeling they were too exposed when I was inspecting them for way too long on the shelf.. Hah
