Hey guys,
Looking for some feed back on detailing steps. I'm getting my malbec black 2011 vert cleaned up. Iv had her about 4 months and so far only washed and waxed her. Meg's Ultimate wash and wax followed with ultimate liquid wax.
Now a local studio is going to us her in a fashion photo shoot. So I want to step the detail and shine up a little. So here are my questions.
Should I go with a pure car wash or is it ok to stick with the ult wash and wax? I have armor all concentrate too, or could pick up something if it would be better.
Next I'm going to clay bar. Getting Meg's smooth surface clay kit.
After I clay I was thinking I would add a coat of cleaner wax. Do I have the right idea here? A little polish and chemical cleaning. I have and old can of turtle wax cleaner wax but I'm not to sure about it. Again thinking I'll go with Meg's for cleaner wax.
Top it all off with 2 coats of Megs ULW.
This will all be done by hand, no DA or buffer. Do I need to add anything/step or change products? If I change they need to be things I can buy local today.
