Hey guys, im detailing my gf's car with a hell lot of swirls and scratches all over the car.

I have tried Meguiar MF correction compound with PC 7424XP
And
WG TSR w/ Orange LC CCS Pads

Both these combos left the surface with still a decent amount of scratches, and MOST swirls were gone.

Im wondering if there are any other combo i should try....

I have a Flex 3401 other than the PC, and almost all the LC pads, and Hybird pads.

But as of now idk what else to try, other than just using the Flex with a orange pad.

Havent tried that yet, but im looking for suggestions on what i should use to tackle the job right....

From what ive read i believe the megs MF correction compound (D300) is only good for mild to moderate scratches and swirls. I think you have the correct tools and process but you need a more aggressive compound to get everything out.

I would think atleast the TSR and orange LC CCS pad would suffice. What speed are you using?

I'm assuming the scratches aren't deep...do you have anything more aggresive (M105, UC, etc) you could try on a test spot?

I just now realize i dont have much products that gets rid of scratches and such -.-
I will go over to oreilly and see if they carry M105....

Very new to this but I have watched 6 YouTube videos on the MFcorrection. The guy from Meg's recommends 4800 OPM for the 300 and 3800 OPM for 301. I don't think that will fix the scratch but may help.

Fixer is probably the most aggressive of your arsenal. Try that with a light cutting/cutting pad.

Pictures might help. Have you tried a yellow pad and 105? Assuming you've tried lesser aggressive combos. You may have RIDS that you might just have to live with. Pictures would help everyone here help you out.
