While trying to spruce up my Leatt brace ( neck brace for motocross or cars) I had a brand new bottle of solution finish $30. Well you know where that went all down my white kitchen cabinets. At least it does what it says it didn't stick just whipped right up. Killin me that I spilled 30.00 onto my floor :(

I just did this with a new bottle of 845. Luckily I grabbed it quick, didn't lose very much. Not that expensive, but still a waste!

Did this also to a new bottle of 845 once. Had it soaking in warm water to liquify it more. Took it out of the buck, shook it a little to mix it. It was still a little chunky, but the cap back on and thought I tightened it all the way down.

Put back in the bucket for a few minutes, the took it out and shook it again...this time cap came flying off and a quarter of the product went everywhere. lol

Crappy feeling, but it's not the end of the world! Unless it's like 5k paste wax... >.<

I just spilled half a bottle of V7 the other day, major bummer. Oh well, that spot of the floor is slick and glossy now at least. lol

I was trying out some solution finish today (12oz.), and I kept swetting it. Spill that, and that's a hundred-thirty down the pisser. Scary thought.

I can greatly empathize how you probably felt.:surrender:

Very important to always keep a straw in your pocket if you're a detailer :dblthumb2:

Leatts are the best! I have the Leatt Adventure neck brace, very comfortable.
I ride a honda too, a 07 crf250r.

Not that it's any consolation, but I think everyone here has at one time or another had a mishap with a product of some sort. The more expensive the product the more discomfort....

My friend had a horrible experience; he had this jar of some sort of swisswax wax, it was brand new, and the FIRST time he was about to try it, as he was dipping in his foam pad, the wax jar slipped out of his hand, fell onto the ground, the entire wax clump fell out, and broke into pieces, and they all kinda just rolled onto the pavement... entire thing was completely covered in rocks and whatnot, and just not salvagable at all, cept for the tiny little 2mm pieces still stuck within the can... I swear he almost wanted to take his garden hose and whip it at his car, he was so upset

And some of us more than once. My garage floor looks like a collage of detailing solutions.
