Hey Mike, are all the detailers experienced? I see some of them are using rotaries, aren't you afraid someone might burn paint?

Yes, and many of the guys have been here for my classes or other detailing projects.

There were a few new guys though and we started them out on the PC style polishers.

Everyone did a great job and the Valiant came out great!

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Time to shut down Autogeek's Show Car Garage!

Thank you everyone for watching!

I think I saw you use the white hybrid pad on the 3401 and the tangerine on the pc for the same step. Do you recommend the hybrid pads on the 3401 over the flat or hydro tech?

We had different things going on... for the experienced detailers were using the Flex rotary buffers and the 3401's with the Hybrid Pads, both 6.5" and the new 4.5" pads.

For the people new to machine polishing I set them up with 5.5" Hydro-Tech pads on the PC style polishers.

I did my Test Spot using the PC style polishers with the 5.5" Hydro-Tech pads and I new when this combo removed the swirls and scratches that it would be a cake-walk for the more powerful tools to do the same with any pad.

I'll post some pictures today...

I missed it all!

Guess I'm gonna have to keep checking in more than just in the morning.

Geeze, just realized the time you were 'on'...I was in class, lost on two accounts...grumble grumble grumble.

Hi Bill,

Next time we'll post way ahead of time if we're going to do a live broadcast. Last night's car project came out AWESOME!

I need to process a few things and then I'll get some pictures up...

Thanks to Mike and everyone who helped to arrange the broadcast last night. Learned several new tips.

BTW, video and audio on my end was great. But, I did miss out on a few tips due to the occasional commercials.:props:

I missed this as well. Any word on when the 4.5 in pads will be availiable. I havn't made the jump to a flex yet and I'll be they will work better with the GG 6" ROP than the 6.5 in Hybrid pads.

The new 4.5" pads are not in stock yet but you can see them in action here,
