So I was driving home from work yesterday morning and...

...Holy Crap!!! Holograms were everywhere!!! I guess I was driving with the sun at just the right angle to show every defect known to man on the cars I was driving by.

I almost crashed heading down I-80 staring at one car in particular. The holograms were so bad they actully looked like they were jumping off the paint. A little later I was sitting at a light and a car was in the middle of the intersection waiting to turn left in front of me. As the car was creeping forward it showed buffer trails and holograms over every inch of paint.

If I ever start a detailing business I will have to buy the production "detail" shops lunch once a month to say thank you for keeping me in business!!

And it's all those hack detailers that keep the "good" detailers in business undoing the damage they inflict.

It's too bad the average Joe Consumer doesn't know the difference between a squirrel and a swirl...

I've told the story before about the two guys at work that would have their cars 'detailed' once a year. I was looking at the hood on one and commented that they should find someone better that wouldn't leave all those marks on the hood and one replied "That's how you tell it was just detailed" So to him they were actually a good thing......
