This week's project car...

Paul's 1965 Plymouth Valiant 100
This is a recent resto-rod with a new paint job but there are still holograms left from a wool pad on a rotary buffer. This is a great candidate for an "Extreme Makeover". It was originally a straight 6 but now it has a warmed-up 318 made to look like the 273 high performance engine that came in a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S. This is only the second paint job this car has ever had and there are only 42,000 original miles.

Spread the word...

To all the regulars that attend these projects, if you have any car buddies that know you're into the "detailing thing" and you know they're interested in learning more about detailing, invite them to attend.

Forward the link to this thread... or the e-mail I sent you...

Thanks!

Great Adam, I've seen this car in person and it's really cool and it's going to be a fun project.

You guys down there have all the fun.....

You should see some of the other cars coming up...

Mike's Ford Fairlane
This is a recent street/strip resto-rod with a 700+ Horsepower Engine that also has a recent black paint job that needs some expert paint polishing to create a true show car finish.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/1430/1964Fairlane003.jpg

Ron's 1934 Chevy 3-Window Coupe
Ron's car was on our TV show and to most people it looks really nice but when Ron and I felt the paint it felt as rough as 80 grit sandpaper and has light swirls. It's a great candidate for a "Show Car Makeover"
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/1430/1934Chevy3Window001.jpg

Lew's 1947 Custom Chevy Roadster Pickup
Lew had his car on our TV show and we recently did an Extreme Makeover on the aluminum diamond plate bed but the paint has some swirls in it also.

And more....
