View Full Version : Anyone Use This Foam Gun?
Take a look at this Foam Gun (LINK REMOVED TO COMPETITORS PRODUCT) You can pick it up at some Tack Shops for around $30. It looks surprisingly similar to the CG Foam Blaster (that was suposedly developed specifically for automobiles)
Seems to do a decent job as shown in this video
Foam Gun eZ All Foamer - YouTube
But it does seem that dilution ratios would be trial and error which is no different than the FoamBlaster. Might not hold up to the rigors of a pro but do just fine for weekend detailers.
Anyone ever used one of these or the FoamBlaster??

Please be kind and follow our Terms and Conditions (FAQS above in tool bar) and NO linking.
Sorry!! Thought since it was a horse care product it would be OK. I'll be more careful in the future.

The Griot's foam gun is very similar plus you get Griot's warranty. Unfortunately, AG does not sell it.

same thing as a gilmour without adjustments it looks to be, all they do imo is just spray lightly sudsy soapy water. but that is just my opinion, the price these things run id rather just buy a foam cannon...it might work decent if you have a higher pressure water line or a inline booster pump but i do not know, all the videos i have seen and from checking them out in person dont seem to fit the bill for what i want to do with it, and that is wanting a long dwell time for cars and when i power wash the house...
I got a foam cannon on Amazon for 43 bucks.

once I break in my foam gun and get the mixture dialed in, I think many will be impressed, a foam cannon is not an option for me atm

No offense to AG but due to this thread I went to the CG website and they are having a killer sale right now.For any $99 order you get a free 16oz product of your choice. And yeah they are also throwing in 3 free 16oz bottles of shampoo with the foam gun.Rest assured AG staff that I did not remove any products from my AG cart because of this revelation.

Yeah, sweet price, got one last year. MTM hydro, just no fancy wax name sticker on it. For what was saved I'll be fine without it.

Thanks for pointing that out!! Still seems like an inexpensive way to get into foaming and you don't have to drag the pressure washer out if you want to do a quick full wash.

I've used the Griots foamer and I liked it. With that being said it is not a durable commercial grade product that you can drop or use 10 to 20 times per day and expect it to last.
I would buy one. Just saying.
