View Full Version : Buffing on a '79 Corvette

Feed back pleaseI'm helping my father restore the exterior of a white 1979 Corvette he just purchased. I have a lot of buffing experience so that is not a concern, my question is this...typically I buff with the 3M Perfect-It rubbing compound, machine polish, and swirl remover. Being that the paint is probably single stage, will I be alright to use this compound on it? May be a stupid question but I'd rather ask it than find out the hard way that I should have!
