Going to be using some Meg's MF pads soon. Cutting says to use 4800 OPM. On the GG6, I am GUESSING this is speed 4. Am I in the ballpark?

Yes speed 4. I used speed 5 recently and destroyed two Optimum cutting pads on one panel. Avoid the higher speeds.

Yes, 3 1/2 - 4 for cutting, 2 1/2 - 3 for finishing. Here's a link with the specifics:
