I was wondering if you should use a pure polish (chemical polish/enhancer) after removing swirls. Would that be a waste? I have some Finish Kare 218 Poly Wipe Sealant on hand that I have used before. Or does actual polish/swirl removal take the place of this step?

Thanks!

I guess I was a little vague and people really don't talk much about the Finish Kare product I mentioned, but I was basically wondering if I would use a product like Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer after I polish with something like Powerfinish or 205. Or If I would only use something like that if I was not going to remove swirls but just "starting over" and apply fresh coats of sealant/wax? Like it would be used to prep the paint if I do not do any polish/correction work?

I think you can use a non-abrasive paint cleaner after polishing to remove polishing oils. Others use IPA, AIO and prep-sol. They remove oils so that sealants can bond perfectly. I hope this kinda answer your question.

Just do a 10-15% IPA wipe down and then wax.
