I do not want to dry out the tires at all, but I do want to remove the previous weeks tire dressing and re-apply. I could use excess car wash soap, but I want to be able to spray it on the tire. I have a ton of P21S wheel gel, should I use a few sprays on the tires and scrub?

Why not just use an apc like you would on a normal dirty tire?

I'm fearing an APC would be too strong and dry out the tire.

I could dilute the APC I have, but I'm not sure what to dilute DP Cleanse All to?

Why don't you go back to sleep and maybe the dilution will come to you when you wake up--it's 4:30AM for cryin' out loud!

Just use a dedicated wheel and tire cleaner

Mark, on my cube, I have used OPC 3:1 (lately BF 3:1) to clean the tires and wheels about once a month since I bought it. I just replaced the original tires, and they still looked brand new, not dried out or cracked. I honestly don't think there is any issue using APC to clean your tires on a regular basis. I would just make sure that it is all fully rinsed off, and doesn't sit on the tires for too long.

I've used Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus on my wifes 2012 Camry that we purchased new with no problems. I used Optimum Power Clean on my 2012 Z06 that was also purchased new. No problems with either, very little residue on either vehicles new tires (more on the vette than the camry).

IIRC, I used a 10:1 mixture. Nothing too crazy, there wasn't a whole bunch of residue to remove in the first place!

Mark I have been very impressed with the Tuff Shine Tire cleaner that is in their kit. It really does a number on the tire and the amount of stuff it pull out of them is amazing.

On a new car I simply wash with car shampoo and treat with Mother's Reflections Tire Care, it leaves the tires looking new with no gloss.
