So easy a caveman can use it....I prefer to top it with a carnuba wax or V7, but is also fine on its own. CG has some really nice Glazes and LSPs.

I have used jetseal topped with CG 50/50 Carnuba wax got a solid 4monts. Even on the fifth month is was beading. never used jetseal alone only on my chrome wheels which did a good job on them.

I dont like its durability and prefer BFWDPS because I like its look better. Its a good product and I love CG but i have never been a fan of jetseal.

I believe it's when it stops sheeting the water, but no beading it's about done

I know people dis its durability but so far that hasn't been my experience at all. I suspect a lot of people who complain skip the second coat. I have nine weeks under harsh conditions (car kept outdoors three small snow storms and temps between 0 and 80 degrees) but still with really tight "morning dew" type beading on the sides of the car and nickel size beads on the hood. Its pretty clear that it will go to 12 weeks at least. Probably more like 16. Twelve weeks is what I need to get through the winter in my area. I have no idea if any of this makes a difference, but it was a new car, well prepared, citrus wash, clayed, and applied in cool conditions.

Its pretty straight forward to use. doesn't make a lot of dust when you buff. Its pretty hard to estimate relative brightness of the shine, but its certainly satisfactory by anyone's standards.

I think a lot of the controversy comes from the snake-oil type advertising campaign which is unbelievably corny, even by Chemical Guys standards. They manage to combine "space-age" hoakum with "nano-technology" hoakum for the same product. That must be some sort of a record. Personally I get a kick out of that kind of advertising. I like to buy "Superthrive" ("greatest product ever made!") at theplant nursery, too.

Pros: Durability, shine, ease of use.

Cons: Price, need to apply twice. Its not difficult, but I timed it and its 45 minutes on, 15 minutes off and 20 minutes in between.

I agree with what Peter said. I bought their ultimate shine kit that comes with jetseal, 5050 and some mf rags. It goes on and comes off easy. I use a wax as u dry whenever I wash and last night i went over that with v7. Feels smoother than my buddies subaru that we just finished. It holds the water beading well as i'm over a month now and it still sheets water. I also like some of their washes too. I prefer honey snow foam. I think its good stuff and I like the black light too. Good luck with your order
