okay so say its your dd, its got some swirls etc, what would be better for a final product

a cleaner wax ex. deep reflections xp or black light topped with v7, whats going to look the best, I'm assuming bl+v7 but it has no cleaning properties, bl wouldnt highlight swirls, it would more mask them due to it being a glaze, correct?

I think bl cleans pretty well.

It's an aio.

It definitely seemed to have some cleaning properties, during the one time I used it (the pad got rather grimy when I used it, and not just from the color of the product).

Why not use a good polish first, remove the swirls and then follow up with a good wa or sealant to add depth and protection.

because this will be for the purpose of production detailing, if time wasnt a factor that would be the procedure

did you apply bl by hand or da

In my case, tried it out with both DA and hand - I was working it a bit, like a pre-wax cleaner, when I used it by hand, though.

If time is a factor, use Meguiars Paint Reconditioning Cream. It is an all in one paint cleaner, polish, and wax. It does a good job removing minor defects and leaves a great shine

It is for customers cars, you think I'll get better results by hand or machine with Meg's d151 iirc, their aio

And D151 is cheaper too - less than half the price.

but i'd be expecting a much higher end finished product with bl+v7 compared to d151, i'll have to do a side by side lol

I achieve GREAT results with Paint Recon Cream. I use it for my Xpress Details.
What's the point in having a great shine if there are lots of imperfections in the paint? You will be happy with paint Recon Cream. Remember, you get what you pay for. If your clients want a better finish, charge them more and use a Polisj like M205 and then follow up with a good wax.
I never apply any products by hand, always with a DA.

What pad do you use with it?
