Hi all,
I picked up the car after having the front guard replaced and the door resprayed in metallic grey.
Despite what I have read, they waxed the guard and door after the respray. I am happy to be guided by them on that decision.
The only issue I have is a small amount of wax residue (I can see the waffle weave pattern) on the door. I am a bit cautious about how to remove this.
I tried QD, Meg #34 and even WD40 with a soft micro fibre cloth. I also tried my waffle weave buffing cloth but I can't get rid of it.
I don't want to clay it yet nor do I want to apply a polish / wax yet. I have some Scratch-X (original) which I could use.
What do you reckon?
