I prefer a short nap MF towel for removing waxes. Longer nap MF towels like the Chinchilla would probably be good to trap the dirt.

The Griot's Garage Wax Removal Cloth (http://www.autogeek.net/griots-microfiber-wax-cloths.html) is still one of my all time favorite towels. I use them for wax/sealant removal and to remove Meguiar's D300.
I got some of these on BOGO the other week. So far, I am really liking them compared to the normal MF towels.

I had troubles with the chinchilla shedding, but that was because I used it before I washed it. That and I was using it to apply and buff off spray wax. Now, chinchilla is used to remove any wax/sealant and does an awesome job. My new go to for removing wax and sealants.
