First, hello to everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster (**pop**).

After months of reading almost every article I could from Mike Phillips, I dove in and purchased a Griots D/A, clay, all the Wolfgang products (swirl remover / glaze / paint sealant / Fuzion), numerous micro-fiber towels, pad cleaner, Lake Country Pads (6 different colors / 12 pads),etc .....

I also purchased a pinstripe remover, to take off the stripe I hade on my truck for 15 years. I have NEVER done anything like this before, and never used real products, and a real polisher. Always bought over the counter products, and applied by hand (Gold Glass and Liquid Glass).

I have owned this truck since brand new in 1997. I get compliments quite often on the paint job. After reading and looking at many of the pictures of black vehicles posted here, I knew there was PLENTY of room for improvement. It's getting late, and I have to work in the morning, and worked on my truck all weekend, here are a few pictures of the results.

I would like to also thank Bobby G, Flash Gordon, and most of all, Mike Phillips. I followed many of y'alls post religiously. My paint correction may not be perfect, or even up to many of the forums standards, but I am so happy, I do not know what to do.

After all, isn't that what it's all about, being proud of your vehicle, and the work you did by yourself.
