VW Cabrio

I will soon be detailing my daughters 2000 VW Cabrio, which is dark blue and in desperate need of some TLC. Can anyone tell me what I can expect as far as removing minor paint imperfections.ie hardness of clear coat/paint? I'll be using the PC 7424 along with the Sonus 3 grades of polish. My GM and Chrysler vehicles have come out amazing.

I've always found VW paint to be easy to work with. I wouldn't say it's soft, or hard...but just normal I guess. The only vehicles I've really always taken notice that have soft clear are Nissans, Hondas, and Subarus. Nothing else really sticks out in my head.

I'd compare my fiances Cabrio, but it's been repainted.
