I have a major problem my now one month old brand new car is being attacked by various Robins, even with a car cover over it they wont stop.
I was going to put a blackfire finish on it but now I am seriously wondering if this is bad idea. Is there something in te meguiars car wash that attracts them or is it the shine ?
How can I get rid of them other then a pellet gun ? They are scratching the hell out of my clear coat!

i live in a suburban neighborhood, so that would get me arrested...

do ultrasonic repellers or solar powered moving owls work ?
I tried a car cover but it doesnt fully cover the sides of the car...

I we had the same issue with our kids cars that are parked under a carport.
We hung a plastic owl in the center of the carport and it actually kept the birds away....
I thought my wife was crazy when she 1st suggested it!!!!

I bought budgeindustries cover but i think it is not fitting because I have the dodge oem mud guards on the car so I will have to get the next size up for my 2012 charger... it is supposed to be a size 4 i think 16.9 - 19' I need a size 5 which 19' - 22.5'
being it's Easter I will have to wait until tomorrow to get a different one

here is the damage from the first day... even with the cover on they are trying to get up under the cover and attack it!
The neighbor said he saw 7 different birds going at the car this morning. I only saw one myself but it kept coming back.
Most of this washed off however they did leave scratches in the clear coat and a 6 - 8 inch scratch at the bottom of the drivers side door.
anyone know of a home remedy like certain spices that repel them. scents, etc. The only other things I have found is ultrasonic repellers at $150.00 but I don't know if they work.

That's crazy!
Birds trying to get under a car cover just to attack your car?
They must really hate your car?
Weird.
