I went to Barrett Jackson today. As far as the cars and auction went, this was by far the most dissapointing year. In past years they have had 4 huge tents, this year 2 only. During the time I was watching, the money just isn't there. I think it might have something to do with the no reserve aspect. Mecum had around 2000 cars in Kissimmee and they allow reserves. I think people aren't willing to take the chance at B J with no reserve. Cars were selling for less than the cost of restoration.

Anyway, they do make it quite an event none the less. The ride in the ZR1 was worth the wait. I want one!

One interesting tidbit is Barrett Jackson now has their own branded car care products. Waxes, polishes, washes etc.

Hmmm Scottsdale seemed good this year. Wonder how Vegas will do...

I have watched some. A couple of cars have gone for very cheap compared to what they should be going for. My friend took a ride in the ZR1 there, saw the video. It seemed like a short ride, but probably very exciting!
