I was just looking at the thread here about Liquid Glass and thought I'd start a new thread, one with old waxes we may have used or saw used by our Dad's or Uncle's, I'll get it started:

These are even in the metal cans too, LOL! Don't remember the Blue Poly but I do remember the regular Blue Coral, I remember as a kid that "that was the stuff", LOL! The Rain Dance on the other hand, well, my Dad used it exclusively, he used to say look at the rain water going "dancy, dancy", the things you remember and never forget.

Can't wait to see the ones you guys put up here:buffing:

Here are my favorites from the 70's & 80's:

And then my Meguiar's shelf:

Just 'cause it's "old school" don't mean it's no good.

I did the old Blue Coral - by hand. (once). Immortallized in song by Jan and Dean ... Blue Coral wax job sure looks pretty ... (Drag City).

Rally also had a vinyl top wax, probably the precursor to Armor All, it looked about the same, if I remember correctly. I used it, and liked it at the time.

Hey Hoytman--I had to go check my cabinet and make sure you didn't steal my Classic products!

I do not have any old tins like these. Makes me wish my dad and uncle saved the tins from when I was a kid. I remember most of these. My uncle had me waxing his blue 1978 Z28 when I was 8 years old with the old green Turtle Wax paste for $5. Was big money when I was a kid. Thanks for the memories and keep them old tin pictures coming.

I was saving this until I had a "good" car to use it on. I wonder when that is going to be? Check out the $3.99 price.
