Hey guys, I picked up a Makita 9227 in the CX3 kit which came with the hook n loop backing plate, a wool pad and a wool polishing bonnet.
I will be using Megs D151 or the m105/205 combo with it and want to know which pads I should be looking into as well as if I should buy a different backing plate than what came with the tool or if that would work?
Also, for what can I use the wool pad/bonnet that came in the kit, as well as with WHAT products to get WHAT results...if that made any sense.

I've got lined up a dark grey/charcoal hood to play with while learning how to use a rotary before letting it touch my personal cars. I plan on making some holograms on it and burning some paint to get a feel for what it takes to ruin the paint and keep from doing that on my cars.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
