Id go with a good AIO over a cleaner wax. Then top with wax or sealant. CG Blacklight, Sonax nano cleaner wax, optimum GPS, or Blackfire Polish and Seal are all great choices.

Duragloss 501 is an excellent AIO and will protect for a good 6 months.

Hands down the best I have ever used and all are DA and hand friendly are the following
Poorboys polish with sealant
Poorboys polish with carnuaba White or blue
My daily driver has a 175 mile round trip every day and these products have removed everything that gets thrown at them(Tar,sap, etc) and they do not stain trim plus you can use them in the sun or shade and they leave the car feeling nice and slick and hold up well to the elements. Top with liquid Natty Blue or EXP and watch out.

i appreciate the input guys but this is for a "production" detailing standpoint, so I'm trying to find the best 1step (ill be doing mainly washclaywax)

If you pay just a few more dollars per gallon to get a nicer aio polish/wax it will pay off with the final product. let the other guy buy the production aio and you buy a quality product. It will be money well spent.

i dont mean to say i'm buying cheaper, just when some people are suggesting a two step right now I'm focusing on the best one step, I'm all for buying high quality products, if you get what I'm saying? I'm just trying to find a great product and then I'll invest in a gallon

IMHO...This Mike Phillips article is a very good read:

http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/hot-topics-frequently-asked-questions/23263-difference-between-cleaner-wax-finishing-wax.html

And from the above article:

"A cleaner/wax is also what we in the detailing industry call a One-Step product or an AIO".

I just checked the web site for my supplier They sell 4 grades of aio polish/wax lowest price is $27 gal. the stuff i use is $42gal. (i get for $37 because i have a dealer account) I've never used the cheap stuff it's popular with used car lots. the stuff i use looks like you polished the paint then put down a layer of wax. even tho it was all one step for me. Customer thinks it looks great. and i'm not in their driveway all day.
