What's a good product that will definitely get the job done?

I usually just use some 205 on the mirror glass with an applicator and then follow with glass cleaner, works perfect every time

Pictures would be nice...
Mothers California Gold Water Spot Remover for Glass, hard water spot remover, glass water spot remover, water spot remover for cars, glass polish (http://www.autogeek.net/mothers-water-spot-remover.html)
Works well. Even better if using powerball from the headlight resto kit.

Ok bro. Heavy or light waterspots. Can you feel them like paint that needs to be clayed?

Try some 'cleaner wax'. Whatever you have on hand.
I've found it works most of the time.
Oh! We are talking about exterior mirrors right?
