Hey everyone,

Just wanted some word of encouragement. I'm nervous about how this will turn out. I'm up in Portland Oregon and am the only detailer at an auction for 200+ hotrods classic cars getting auctioned off the next two days. The forecast is rain rain and more rain so I'm hoping to make some money cleaning up cars that people drove to get auctioned off. I'm charging 10-50 for services depending on what they are and plan only to spend about 30 min a car. I spent about $400 get supplies paying a friend to help to get this going. Hoping I make bank, and this not turn into a flop. Just wanting some words of encouragement. Got to take some risk to make some dough!!

if it pans out, the next time you do it get a beautiful girl to be your second set of hands...I bet you would triple your takers on your offer

Thats a great idea, best of luck to you!

What products are you going with? Looking to remove dirt and add a bit of gloss, no?

So far it's not to bad. It looked like a flop for the first 2 hours. I might break even but won't do this again.

Congratulations and good luck! :dblthumb2:

Not sure what you're going to do or use but I would be inclined to have a waterless wash on hand, glass cleaner, DA Polisher and some GPS, tire dressing, spray wax, the basics for speed...

Hope you take some pictures...

Yep no water so it's a rinse less wash. I had my polisher and all that but turns out it cost 125 to use electricity so bye bye polisher. I did polish a string ray by hand and wax. Some cool cars are here but yep clean windows some tire shine and spray wax. Just the basics get a car done in 15-30 min

At least if you broke even, you have the rest of your product to make only profit from when you use them next!
