Last year I met a really cool guy that owned a black Nissan Titan. He was frustrated with his paint job being that the Truck new to him was only a total of 2.5 yrs old. He had taken it to the dealership for a "detail" and had tried various OTC products but the paint just wasn't looking good at all. I was his last step before considering a repaint. So I taped off a square and used my PCXP with an orange pad and some Menzerna polish.

He was blown away. So I proceeded to do the entire truck. Many hours later and topped with a LSP I don't remember I was done. I taught him some basic car care techniques like the two bucket method.

That was almost a year ago. He called back today to have me do just a mild polish and wax. When I got there I noticed the truck had "wet microfiber" spots on it. Just from drying. But I also noticed the pain was in AMAZING CONDITION. very very few swirls. I told him I was proud of how well he's kept up on it. I used Prima amigo and a MF pad on the PCXP and it looked like a pool of black oil again. I topped it with a grey CG pad and some Butter wet wax (CG). It took two hours because he had it all prepped for me and this is what it looked like.

Even though I have clients that call every few months for a big detail and their vehicle is a mess and I make more money off of them, I was happy to see someone go a long time between service and have their vehicle look that good.

It does look good, nice work.

Just to note, I edited your thread, found where the code started and ended for each image and went into "code view" and used my [Enter] key to put some spaces between each image.

This forces them to line up in a linear manner...

Just a tip...

I've only buffed out one Titan in my life and don't really care to buff out another one...

Wow! I can see why you needed richards help with that one! I a HUGE fan of richards work and process.

I used the iphone AG mobile app for the post. Ill have to remember to add spaces. Also while were on the subject, when you are typing a post in the app the screen wont stay scrolled to the bottom of the screen. You cant see what youre typing!

Thanks for checking out the post!

That makes sense.

Dang phone apps are great but not perfect. I rarely try to upload or post pics from either my iPhone or ipad... just too cumbersome... but appreciate those that do...

Again, nice work on the Titan... hope I never have to buff another one out...
